Product Warranty Policy

EXPRESS WARRANTY

Nelson A. Taylor Co., Inc. warrants that its Taylor Made® boat windshields and glass products meet all applicable industry standards and warrants to the original purchaser, for a period of one year from the date of purchase, that its Taylor Made® boat windshields and glass products are free from defects in material and workmanship in accordance with applicable industry standards, provided the purchaser has used and maintained the products in accordance with standard care practices as recommended by Nelson A. Taylor Co., Inc. use and care practices as instructed on the front of this document. This one-year warranty period begins with the date of delivery of this product to the original purchaser. This warranty will not apply to any product if it is determined by Nelson A. Taylor Co., Inc. that the product became defective or damaged because of neglect, misuse, abuse, accident, or if it was used for racing or commercial purposes. This warranty is void if alterations have been made to the product.

Nelson A. Taylor Co., Inc. specifically excludes any warranty or liability for cosmetic variations that fall within industry standards. To obtain service or make a claim under this warranty, the purchaser should make inquiries to Nelson A. Taylor Co., Inc., 93 South Blvd., Gloversville, New York 12078. Remedy of defective materials of workmanship shall be the repair or replacement of the product. All repairs under this warranty shall be made at the above address and authorized exclusively by Nelson A. Taylor Co., Inc. personnel in writing. The purchaser accepts responsibility for all freight-related charges and charges and fees to and from Nelson A. Taylor Co., Inc. To return a warranty claim, a “return authorization number” must be obtained and clearly marked on the package. Returned items will not be accepted without a “return authorization number.” Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose are excluded from this warranty. Under no circumstances shall Nelson A. Taylor Co., Inc. be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages for breach of this warranty or of any implied warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
