| GLOVERSVILLE, NY November 7, 2002 Taylor Made Systems is now offering FastBack pop-up boat enclosures to fit more than 100 models of boats from Sea Ray and Monterey. 'We now have FastBack patterns for all Sea Ray models ranging from 28 to 42 feet since 1995,' said Mike Oathout, vice president, sales and marketing. 'And we are also pleased to announce that Monterey is offering the FastBack as a standard option on all cruiser models for 2003.' The patented FastBack is a unique concept in boat enclosures. Inspired by lightweight mountaineering tent designs, the dome-shaped FastBack uses flexible fiberglass battans to hold its shape regardless of wind and weather. It can be installed in under five minutes by one person with no special tools, without leaving the safety of the cockpit. When not in use, the cover and battans stow neatly into a 48-inch bundle for easy storage, leaving no hardware fixtures on deck. FastBack converts the open cockpit into an enclosed weather-proof living space with over six feet of headroom. 'This revolutionary new boat enclosure literally doubles the living space on a typical express cruiser,' said Oathout.
