TAYLOR MADE SYSTEMS REDESIGNS INTEGRATED TOWER SYSTEM TO MEET CUSTOMERS’ CHANGING NEEDS

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. – January 4, 2007 – In response to overwhelming interest, Taylor Made Systems has enhanced key features on the company’s Integrated Tower System (ITS).

The patented ITS has been re-engineered for stronger, safer and more reliable performance. The system is available in a variety of powder-coated finishes and can accommodate both aluminum and stainless steel frames.

The re-styled ITS now includes an improved, robust welded wing section and boasts a one-of-a-kind mounting system with no exposed bolts or screws resulting in a cleaner, sleeker look. Most notable however, is a unique “Wake-Tek” pass through swivel joint. Invented by Taylor Made’s development team, the new joint permits wires to pass through the windshield frame and directly into the tower protecting them from weather and corrosion.

Customers and tower manufacturers now have a wider range of options because the improved system promotes greater flexibility in windshield design by allowing boat architects and builders to customize the windshield to their exact specifications. The added strength and durability also makes it possible to integrate the ITS on arch and roof systems.

“In our efforts to anticipate our customer’s needs, we have initiated extensive product testing on a variety of boats,” said Mike Oathout, vice president of sales and marketing for
Taylor Made Systems. “As a result, we have engineered an even better solution for one of today’s most popular boating markets.”
