| GLOVERSVILLE, NY — September 6, 2005 — Dennis Flint, president of the Taylor Made Group, today announced the appointment of Al Petit as president of Taylor Made Systems.
Petit has been general manager of the Taylor Made Systems factory in Gloversville, New York, since early 2004. In announcing the appointment, Flint said, "Al Petit is well prepared to carry on the significant improvements begun by Randy Parker as president of Taylor Made Systems. We wish Randy all the best as he leaves Taylor Made to pursue his career goals." "As general manager of our Gloversville plant, Al Petit has led in plant organization and successfully implemented a lean manufacturing initiative," said Flint. "He also was responsible for implementing an improved quality system and integration of engineering into the production and product design cycle." Petit is a seasoned manufacturing and operations professional with extensive experience in all facets of production, logistics and engineering. Prior to joining Taylor Made, he was vice president of operations at Comfortex Corporation, where he was responsible for managing three factories in New York, Florida and Nevada. He also served in several key manufacturing management slots at Garden Way, Inc. He earned a Master of Science in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Clarkson University.
