| GLOVERSVILLE, NY — December 18, 2002 — Taylor Made Systems today announced that it has launched a new initiative aimed at becoming a major supplier of accessory products for the international megayacht sector.
"We intend to broaden our range of high-quality products for the megayacht market, and we will partner with the best manufacturers in the business to offer products such as gangways, davits, pilot seats and hardware," said Mike Oathout, vice president, sales and marketing. "Our future goal is to be the leading supplier of high-end accessory products for custom builders and the aftermarket." As a part of this initiative, Taylor Made Systems has discontinued its exclusive distributorship agreement in North America with the Italian accessories manufacturer Opacmare s.r.l. "We will continue to support Opacmare products, including warranty service, for equipment we have sold in North America, and will ensure timely delivery of items that have already been ordered by our customers," said Oathout.
